Cintas Expands Document Management Operations in Chicago
New facility offers storage and document imaging solutions for warehousing customer data
Chicago — Cintas Corporation today announced the opening of its newest document storage and imaging facility in Chicago. Equipped with the latest document storage and imaging technology, the facility provides solutions to help customers securely store, and maintain easy access to, sensitive business information and data. The new location complements its current document shredding facility in the Chicagoland area, fulfilling Cintas’ full range of document management capabilities to serve the needs of businesses throughout northern Illinois.
"Compromising customer information can be very costly and damaging to a company’s reputation"
"Each year, costly document management business practices result in millions of dollars in liability and lost productivity," said Chad Bevington, Regional Business Director of Cintas' Document Management Division. "Our new Chicago facility allows local businesses to keep important business data offsite in a secure, organized system that frees up space, ensures corporate compliance and gives customers greater efficiency to control and access their information."
Cintas is the first and only North American AAA NAID-certified and PCI DSS compliant document management provider. As with all its 80 document management locations located throughout North America, its Chicago location was designed to meet stringent standards set forth by these prestigious organizations. Its security diligence includes: cameras to digitally record facility activity, the latest building access control technology, fleet vehicles with security cameras, GPS systems, FE25 fire suppression systems, customized locking systems and early suppression/fast response fire systems to extinguish fire regionally and prevent potential water damage. Additionally, Cintas' eDelivery capabilities will find, scan and swiftly send any needed file through its InfoPort™ data system.
Cintas recognizes that a business can potentially waste millions of dollars per year through manual document handling and management. So Cintas’ Chicago operation also provides document imaging services to scan and store documents to increase productivity, improve business processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for its customers. Documents are loaded into a searchable database that allows clients to securely retrieve information over the Web anytime, any place. The imaging process has been especially advantageous in applications involving business activities like accounts payable and human resource documentation.
"Compromising customer information can be very costly and damaging to a company’s reputation," added Bevington. "We are excited to expand our presence in Chicago and provide local businesses the peace of mind that their sensitive business information is highly secure, yet easily accessible. We believe these solution-based services and our world-class team servicing the Chicago area market show our commitment to exceed our customers’ expectations."
