Historically Black Colleges and Universities
There are 114 historically black colleges in the United States today, including public and private, two-year and four-year institutions. Cintas actively recruits students from various historically black colleges and universities including Claflin University, Florida A&M University, North Carolina A&T and Wilberforce University. Cintas Chairman Dick Farmer and Vice Chairman Bob Kohlhepp served as guest speakers at the Florida A&M University School of Business and Industry's CEO Forum.
Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU)
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is a national association of higher education institutions based in San Antonio, Texas. The association represents more than 450 colleges and universities committed to Hispanic higher education success in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Latin America, Spain and Portugal. Although the member institutions in the U.S. represent less than 10% of all higher education institutions nationwide, together they are home to more than two-thirds of all Hispanic college students. HACU is the only national educational association that represents Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs).
