Cintas Promotes Dan Braun to Senior Vice President, Value Improvement Initiatives - Operations
CINCINNATI, OH, Sept. 11, 2009 — Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) announced today the promotion of Dan Braun to Senior Vice President, Value Improvement Initiatives – Operations. In his new role, Braun will oversee safety, engineering solutions and fleet management company-wide. He will also be responsible for the company’s Rental Division Six Sigma, Quality and Productivity initiatives.
Braun first joined Cintas in 1990 as a Plant Manager in Columbus, OH. After four years in that position, he was promoted to General Manager, where he earned seven consecutive Outstanding Achievement Awards for outstanding performance. In 2002, he was promoted to Assistant Group Vice President for the Northeast Group and a year later, moved to Group Vice President of the MidSouth Group, the position he held most recently.
"Dan is uniquely qualified for his current role because of the years he spent at Cintas as an internal customer of the services for which he is now responsible. Now, as an internal supplier of these services, I expect Dan to make a value-added impact on Cintas' processes and results," said Phillip Holloman, President and Chief Operating Officer.
Braun, a native of Hamilton, OH, holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Miami University. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees for the Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired since 2005. He and his wife, Eva, live in Cincinnati.
