Cintas Honored with Massachusetts Association for Persons in Supported Employment (APSE) Award

BOSTON - Cintas Corporation's (Nasdaq: CTAS) Boston facility received the 2004 Massachusetts Association for Persons in Supported Employment (APSE) Award. The statewide award recognizes Cintas for outstanding achievements in promoting supported employment, making accommodations, and including people with disabilities in their place of work. The Merrimack Special Education Collaborative nominated Cintas for the award.

"We're honored to be recognized as a company that provides great opportunities for everyone," said Cintas General Manager, Mark Cossey. "The award reflects the character of our employee-partners in Boston and all over North America , as well as the culture that makes Cintas a great place to work."

Since 1998, Cintas has worked with the Merrimack Special Education Collaborative to provide opportunities to people with disabilities. Cintas' Boston facility now provides career training opportunities to 25 people whose job responsibilities help bring them into the mainstream workforce.

Cintas' Boston facility is one of four Cintas operations in Massachusetts . The company employs 430 people in the state.
