Xavier University, Cintas and Farmer Family Foundation to honor Cintas Vice Chair Robert J. Kohlhepp
Honor to include creation of Sr. Rose Ann Fleming Endowment for Student-Athlete Academic Advising
November 8, 2007 — Xavier University, Cintas Corporation and the Farmer Family Foundation honored Cintas Vice Chairman and Xavier Board of Trustee member Robert J. Kohlhepp at Xavier’s annual Hall of Fame dinner on Friday, November 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Schiff Family Conference Center located at the University’s Cintas Center.
Kohlhepp was recognized for his invaluable leadership to both Xavier and Cintas through the creation of the Sr. Rose Ann Fleming Endowment for Student-Athlete Academic Advising. The endowment reflects Kohlhepp’s dedication, loyalty and passion that helped transform Xavier University into one of America's greatest universities. It also recognizes Kohlhepp as one of the leading forces for more than 40 years behind the outstanding performance of Cintas.

The endowment is named in honor of Xavier’s Sr. Rose Ann Fleming who for more than two decades has served as the academic advisor for Xavier student-athletes and has guided Xavier to national recognition for student-athlete graduation success.
The endowment will be initially funded by gifts from the Farmer Family Foundation and the Cintas Corporation.
In addition to the endowment, Kohlhepp was honored with a plaque in Xavier’s Hall of Fame located in the west concourse of the Cintas Center.
Kohlhepp has been a member of Xavier’s Board of Trustees for more than 20 years. He is an avid supporter of Xavier athletics, including lending his name to the Kohlhepp Family Auxiliary Gym (located in the Cintas Center). Kohlhepp's personal generosity and relentless drive was also the force behind the creation of the Cintas Center.
Kohlhepp, who received his MBA from Xavier in 1971, has been a Director of Cintas since 1979. He has been employed by Cintas since 1967 serving in various executive capacities including Vice President — Finance until 1979 when he became Executive Vice President. He served in that capacity until October 23, 1984, when he was elected President, a position he held until July 1997. Mr. Kohlhepp became Chief Executive Officer on August 1, 1995, and served in that capacity until he became Vice Chairman of the Board in July 2003. He is also a Director of Parker Hannifin Corporation, Cleveland, Ohio.
