Cintas Ranked Among Oregon ’s Top Employers For Fifth Consecutive Year
Company Takes Fifth Spot on Oregon Business Magazine’s “100 Best” List
PORTLAND, OR, April 4, 2005 – In its annual analysis of more than 24,000 employees from 225 Oregon companies, Oregon Business Magazine listed Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS) number five among the 100 best companies to work for in the state. The recognition marks the fifth consecutive year Cintas finished in the top 20 on the magazine’s “100 Best” list.

To create the list, Oregon Business worked with research consultants Davis, Hibbitts & Midghall Inc. to survey more than 24,000 employees and managers from 225 Oregon companies. Cintas, North America ’s leading uniform service provider and the U.S. leader in deliverable first aid and safety products and services, received top-five scores for employee attraction and retention, decision making and trust, performance management and rewards, and career development and learning.
Cintas employs 235 people at 3 facilities in Oregon. The company employs 28,000 overall at more than 330 facilities across North America.
In addition to Oregon Business, FORTUNE magazine listed Cintas among America ’s “Most Admired Companies” for the fifth consecutive year in 2005. Forbes Magazine named Cintas one of the “Best Managed” companies in America in 2004.
