Cintas is committed to focusing on diversity and looking for more ways to be a truly inclusive organization that makes full use of all partners' contributions. Diverse partners better understand our customers and identify with their needs. By drawing upon the strength of the diversity of our partners we will continue to exceed our customers' expectations.

Although diversity is often used to refer to differences such as gender, age, religion, disability and national origin, diversity encompasses an infinite range of individuals' unique characteristics and experiences. We have a diversity committee that I personally chair which has been in existence for several years. All of our managers and supervisors have received diversity training, and we have teamed up with a number of organizations to assist us in this effort, including the Urban League, the National Black MBA Association, the National Hispanic MBA Society, a number of predominantly minority colleges and several other organizations. In our Scholars' Program, in which college students participate in summer internships in the hopes that they ultimately will become Management Trainees, the percentage of minorities participating in each year's class has almost doubled during the last four years. And, in our INROADS scholarship program - which is a program specifically for minority students - we've tripled the number of participating students, and women now account for almost 60 percent of this year's class.

Diversity is one of the reasons Cintas is the world's leading uniform company and the fastest growing company in the industry. In the last four years of our management trainee program, for example, the number of minorities enrolled into the program more than tripled, and number of women more than doubled.

Cintas is committed to taking great strides toward not only embracing diversity, but also weaving it throughout the fabric of our corporation.
