Cintas Corporation Named Among Best Employers in Canada
Employee engagement found to be key factor
Cincinnati, OH, January 29, 2010 — Cintas Corporation announced that it has been named among the 50 Best Employers in Canada in 2010, according to Hewitt Associates, a global human resources consulting and outsourcing company.
The results from this year’s study found that Cintas Corporation was among companies that managed to maintain high employee productivity and commitment to organizational success, despite the economic recession. "These employers will be able to retain key people, thanks to their focus on sustaining and improving high employee engagement," said Neil Crawford, national leader of the Hewitt study.
"Cintas believes that if our employee-partners are satisfied, then our customers will be satisfied and our business will grow," said Scott Farmer, CEO of Cintas Corporation. "We are delighted to have been named among Canada's Best Employers and I thank our employee-partners in Canada for their commitment to Cintas," he added.
The list is based on survey responses from more than 108,000 Canadian employees, with additional input from over 1,200 leaders and human resources professionals. The complete list appears in the January issue of The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine and in La Presse.
