Cintas Promotes John D. Hart to Senior Vice President of the Eastern Territory
CINCINNATI, OH, Sept. 21, 2009 — Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) announced today the promotion of John D. Hart to Senior Vice President – Eastern Territory. In his new role, Hart will oversee the growth and profit of over 65 Cintas facilities in the newly aligned rental division.
Hart first joined Cintas in 1988 as a Production Supervisor in Philadelphia. In 1990, he was promoted to Plant Manager at a startup Cintas facility in Piscataway, NJ. Two years later, he returned to Philadelphia as Senior Plant Manager. He spent three years in the position before moving to General Manager of the Cintas facility in Long Island and later, in Philadelphia. In 2002, he was promoted to Assistant Group Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic Group. After one year, he transitioned to Group Vice President of the Northern Group, the position he held most recently.
"John has been successful in every role he has held at Cintas because of his great leadership skills, combined with his management systems," said Phillip Holloman, President and Chief Operating Officer. "I anticipate great results from John and the Eastern Territory under his leadership," he added.
Hart has been the recipient of several company awards, including the coveted Excalibur Award, Cintas' highest achievement for years of dedicated service to the company.
Hart holds a B.S. in Marketing and Management from West Chester University. He lives in Holland, PA with his wife, Maria, and their three children.
