Cintas Designs Award-Winning Uniforms
Chicago, Illinois - The
National Accounts Sales
Division of Cintas
(Nasdaq: CTAS) outfits
two of the "Top Ten
Image of the Year" winners:
the Millennium Biltmore
Hotel and Athlete's
Foot. Honorees received
the uniform industry's
highest honor at an
awards ceremony held
recently in Las Vegas.
The Career Apparel
Institute, a division
of the National Association
of Uniform Manufacturers
and Distributors (NAUMD),
produces the national
competition.

Account Sales Division. "This
honor confirms that
Cintas is not just
selling uniforms to
our customers, rather

and every customer
enhance their company's

and sense of pride."
Cintas created
winning designs for:
- The Millennium
Biltmore Hotel, an
establishment that
offers a traditional
hotel experience
in the contemporary
atmosphere of downtown
Los Angeles. The
hotel wanted a uniform
program that illustrated
their uniqueness
with custom touches
and an old world
appeal. Uniforms
for the door and
bell staff were inspired
by the Art Deco period
and set the tone
for the rest of the
program, which features
dark city colors
mixed with a rich
burgundy and a bright
white.
- The Athlete's Foot,
a chain of stores
that sells athletic
shoes. Company leaders
wanted unforgettable
uniforms made in
the styles and fabrics
used in active sportswear.
They achieved that
goal with Cintas
designs that feature
polo shirts for managers
and football style
jerseys for U.S.
sales people. These
designs help create
a truly memorable
corporate identity
for the company.
The Image of the Year
Awards honor end-users
and suppliers who have
effectively used career
apparel programs to
project a desired image
or meet a stated goal.
Companies are judged
on the basis of image
projection, neatness,
functionality, usage
of color, originality,
and coordination of
garments with accessories.
