Cintas Ranked Among Canada’s Best Employers

Recognition In "Report on Business Magazine" Attributed To Company's Culture

CINCINNATI, January 16, 2007 - Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS) was recently ranked among the best employers in Canada by Report on Business Magazine, a monthly publication in Canada’s Globe and Mail news.  The recognition marks the company’s third appearance on the magazine’s “50 Best Employers List” since 2004.

To identify Canada’s 50 best companies to work for, Report on Business commissioned Hewitt Associates to survey employees at leading businesses from across the country.  More than 100,000 employees from 120 companies participated in the research. The study focused on employee engagement, the factors that influence an employee’s overall commitment to the organization. Cintas claimed the 19th spot on the prestigious list.

According to Neil Crawford, leader of Hewitt's Best Employers in Canada study, "When we measure engagement, we're not simply determining whether employees are happy or loyal. We're gauging the emotional and intellectual commitment employees demonstrate for the organization for which they work. If employees feel a strong commitment, they're likely to speak positively about their employer to others, stay with the organization, and do all they can to help it achieve its business goals."
