Cintas and INROADS Interns Receive National Recognition
CINCINNATI, OH, September 25, 2007 – INROADS, a national program designed to pair top minority students with major corporations and prepare them for roles in corporate leadership, recently honored Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) and seven of its INROADS Interns during the 2007 INROADS 25TH Anniversary Gala held July 19, 2007 at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Cintas interns Lauren Coleman, Damon Jason, and Horace Lee were each recognized as graduating seniors.
In addition, the following Cintas interns were recognized for their academic achievement, each attaining a G.P.A. of 3.2 or higher:
- Brittany Woods, Marketing, Hampton University
- Damon Jason, NASD, University of Notre Dame
- Earl Pinkett IV, Sales, Miami University
- Jarrod Richardson, Safety and Engineering Solutions, Purdue University
- Amy Fletcher, Safety and Engineering Solutions, Washington University
- Lauren Coleman, New Account Installation Manager, Hampton University
The Cintas Corporation was also the recipient of the 2007 Corporate Plus award. The honor is presented to a corporate client that has supported INROADS in the various facets of its organization, from recruiting and training to professional development and alumni involvement. ï¿½From its CEO to its interns, Cintas demonstrates a clear commitment to INROADS and has supported INROADS to develop a significant talent pool,ï¿½ said Hugh Williams, Regional Director and National Account Manager for Cintas.
Cintas has been working with INROADS to prepare minority students for fulltime, post-graduation employment at the company since 1996. Cintas currently employs 50 INROADS Interns and ranks among the organizationï¿½s top-20 employers.
