Cintas Corporation Proudly Announces the Addition of Joyce Hergenhan to Its Board of Directors

Chairman of the Board
of Directors and Founder
of Cintas Corporation
announced today that
Joyce Hergenhan has
joined Cintas Corporation's
Board of Directors.
Prior to her retirement
early this year, Ms.
Hergenhan was with
the General Electric
Company for 22 years,
serving as both vice
president for corporate
public relations and
president of the GE
Foundation. As General
Electric's senior communications
executive, Ms. Hergenhan
worked closely with
then-CEO Jack Welch
during its transition
from a traditional
manufacturing company
to the world's largest
diversified technology
and services company.
In addition to her
outstanding professional
career at GE, Ms. Hergenhan
provided leadership
to several professional
organizations, including
her role as chairman
of the Public Relations
Seminar for senior
public relations executives.
Her professional achievements
include the lifetime
achievement award in
public relations from
Women In Communications
in 1999, and lifetime
achievement award in
2000 from Inside PR,
the leading publication
in the field.
Prior to General Electric,
Ms. Hergenhan was senior
vice president - public
affairs at Con Edison.
She also served as
a journalist with Gannett
newspapers and press
secretary for U.S.
Representative Ogden
R. Reid.

A native of Armonk
, N.Y. , Ms. Hergenhan
is a graduate of Syracuse
University and the
Columbia University
Graduate School of
Business. She currently
resides in Fairfield
, CT where she is also
active in numerous
civic organizations.
