This course is designed to help learners choose, inspect and safely operate a forklift, protecting them and their coworkers from the potential hazards associated with their use.

The program covers the various kinds of forklifts and their controls; discusses the center of gravity and stability triangle concepts; explains what to look for when performing a pre-use inspection; describes how to safely operate a forklift (including picking up, traveling with, and placing a load); and parking. This course can be coupled with instructor led training for hands-on practice and experience.
