Cintas and Chef Works Recognize “Win the Kitchen” Contest Finalists

15 Cintas Uniform Sales Representatives from across the U.S. and Canada qualified for grand-prize event

CINCINNATI – Fifteen outstanding Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS) employee-partners were recently named finalists for Cintas and Chef Works’ Win the Kitchen contest, qualifying for the chance to win a kitchen upgrade or an international culinary experience.  

The 15 top-performing Uniforms Sales Representatives were finalists in a six-month campaign promoting Cintas’ exclusive Chef Works rental culinary workwear line. They participated in a two-day trip to visit Cintas’ corporate headquarters in Mason, Ohio, where they met with company leaders and were recognized for their success in the campaign.

The campaign culminated in a grand-prize ceremony where the winner of the contest, Nashville’s Gabriel Reyes, won a $20,000 once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience in Italy. Second-place winner Timothy Hoerner, from Buffalo, New York, won a $10,000 kitchen makeover, and third-place winner Jack Panagos of Jersey City, New Jersey, won $5,000 towards a culinary trip.

Each Uniform Sales employee-partner in the United States and Canada had the opportunity to participate in the Win the Kitchen campaign, qualifying for hundreds of prizes over six months. The 15 top-performing finalists qualified for the grand prize, including the chance to win either a $20,000 kitchen upgrade or an international culinary experience trip.

Finalists were flown into the Cincinnati area on Wednesday, October 26, for the two-day, grand-prize event, which included dinner with Cintas executives at Jeff Ruby’s award-winning Carlo & Johnny, a Q&A with both Cintas and Chef Works executives, a tour of Cintas’ corporate headquarters, and a ceremony to announce the contest winners.
