Companies near completion of a four-year LED retrofit project across the U.S. and Canada
CINCINNATI – Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS) and Redaptive, an Energy-as-a-Service provider that installs energy-saving and energy-generating equipment, are nearing completion of a multi-year project to retrofit Cintas locations with LED lighting systems.
The effort, which encompasses more than 170 of Cintas’ oldest, largest and most energy-intensive facilities across the United States and Canada, began in Cintas’ fiscal year 2019.
To date, the new LED installations have helped Cintas reduce its annual energy use at these facilities by almost 23.3 million kilowatt hours – which represents more than 16,500 metric tons of CO2 emissions averted annually.
