Cintas Helps Provide CPR and AED Training at ‘Save the Dey’ Event

Cintas helps raise awareness through CPR and AED training to over 700 participants.

Cintas partnered with the Cincinnati Bengals, Kettering Health and the American Heart Association to raise awareness and educate the community about CPR and AED through an event called ‘Save the Dey’ at Paycor Stadium.

“Giving back to the community has always been part of the Cintas culture and we’re thrilled to have done this,” said Todd Schneider, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cintas. “I'm so proud of our partners for giving their time to help these participants so that they can help others. This is part of who we are and what makes Cintas so special.”

Cintas had 25 First Aid & Safety employee-partners volunteer to conduct the training. The employee-partners helped over 700 participants learn how to administer hands-only CPR and effectively use an AED.

“AED and CPR training are extremely important because sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anybody at any time,” said Mark Carter, President and Chief Operating Officer of the First Aid & Safety division at Cintas. “We want people to know how to react if somebody goes down. That’s why we're here to make sure that people are getting the proper training and support.”

Cintas provides CPR and AED training to over 100,000 businesses and organizations across the United States.

“We have the good fortune of hearing a lot of stories at Cintas of the lives saved through CPR and AEDs,” said Todd Van Houten, Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation for the First Aid & Safety Division at Cintas. “That’s why we are thrilled to have had our team of employee-partners at the event to help lead the training and teach the participants lifesaving skills of CPR and AED.”
