Some Heroes Wear Capes, Others Use Cintas AEDs

On November 7, 2024, a contract worker was found unresponsive on the ground at Reworld. Rebecca Mellinger, a front desk employee, called 911 and Phillip Wedge immediately initiated life-saving CPR compressions. After 3 minutes of unresponsive compressions, Safety Program Manager Daniel Feagins (pictured below) promptly grabbed the Cintas AED and attached it to the victim. The AED analyzed the victim’s heart rhythm, advised, and delivered 5 shocks. Emergency services arrived and took over the scene 5 minutes later. The victim regained consciousness and responsiveness before departing for the hospital where they fully recovered.

Daniel Feagins wanted to provide his feedback on the service that saved a life. “Cintas has consistently provided excellent service. Not only do they keep us up to date with the latest products, but they also offer comprehensive training for all their services.”

Every minute without an AED shock decreases a victim’s chance of surviving by 10%. You can’t put a price on a life, so be prepared to save one.
